Abstract：This paper introduces the application visualization theme surveillance technology application of EMS system. The application of 2d and 3d visualization technology for data display used in EMS is discussed, including bar chat, pie chart, flow line, contours, cylindrical/cone, space connecting line, etc. Based on this, the concept of visualization theme is proposed. And the realization examples of some theme such as voltage, tide, equipment load rate, N-1 analysis results are given. The practical application show that the visualization theme is surveillance and helpful for dispatch personnel to find and solve problems.
