Abstract: Based on the analysis the development of intelligent home system, we design an simple embedded intelligent home remote monitoring system through embedded system development technology. The S3C2410A processor and Linux operating system, establish the embedded system platform and development environment, system USES USB cameras acquisition video, open source software FFMPEG video encoding, and to use JRTPLIB library in Linux real-time streaming media transmission video programming. At the same time, by adding infrared detector further strengthen security warning function. The experimental results show that the design of the system to realize the basic functions of the smart home based on ARM intelligent household remote control system in power, volume, performance and expansibility has unique advantages have wide development space.
