Abstract:Traditional OFDM system has the disadvantages of high out-of-band spectral leakage and no adjustable waveform parameters, which can’t satisfy the high quantity of data transmission, high flexibility requirements of the fifth generation communication(5G). Therefore, based on the existing OFDM technology, this paper proposes a technique based on F-OFDM variable subcarrier access technology, named filter- orthogonal frequency division multiplexing. According to different application requirements, the variable filter is added to each subband to restrain the out-of-band spectrum leakage, and MATLAB simulation is used to test the feasibility of this method. The results show that the designed module meets the requirements of F-OFDM communication system.
