Abstract：This paper studies the method of teaching reform in the course of computer application basis for non computer majors
in colleges and universities. Combined with many years of author's teaching experience, this paper explores on the teaching
methods from the content of classroom teaching and the students' learning methods. Teachers use the project teaching method and
students use the group discussion learning method, which can not only improve the quality of teaching, but also stimulate students interest
in learning, and cultivate students application ability and autonomous learning ability.
